It would be easy to argue that California taught the world how to farm and make wine in a modern, technological, and most importantly, clean way.  There are lots of well made wines in California; and there are lots of wines that are difficult to differentiate.  Our goal with our small but growing domestic portfolio is two-fold : 1. find wines that are distinct from what else is out there (maybe that is Riesling from Santa Barbara, or low-alcohol, Friulian-style blends from Napa Valley, or high elevation Grenache) and 2. Never compromise our desire for balance in wines.

It’s true we are an import company building a domestic portfolio. We think it’s a plus.
