Montalbano is a longstanding Chianti classification. In 1975, Carmignano was created adjacent to this region to the west of Florence. Their vines can be found amongst olive trees bordering along a national park. The estate vineyards sit at roughly 300 meters. His dedication to well made wine has led Enrico Pierazzuoli to the guiding philosophy that there should not be more than one bottle per vine.
